Orange & Rockland Utilities, RTU Replacement Project

Field replacement of 5 existing RTUs with new electronic components. Responsible for the development of new drawings, revising existing drawings, procurement of new equipment, and the field installation of all equipment. Completion date: June 1999. Construction Value: $150,000. ATS responsibility: $150,000.

AMTRAK Southend RTU Replacement Project

Engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning services for the remote supervisory equipment to be used as part of the upgrade of the southend RTUs. The initial installation included 5 remote terminals units for interlockings. Services include preparation of technical installation documents, scheduling of activities, configuration management, engineering review of documentation, construction services and commissioning. Completion date: March 2001. Value: $300,000.

AMTRAK High Speed Rail Northend Electrification Program

Engineering, installation, and commissioning services for the remote supervisory equipment to be used as part of the Amtrak Northend Electrification Program. The remote equipment include 25 remote terminal units (RTU) with supporting batteries and battery chargers for substations, switching stations and paralleling stations and 30 outdoor RTUs for interlockings. Services include preparation of technical installation documents, scheduling of activities, configuration management, engineering review of documentation, construction services and commissioning. Completion date: December 1999. Construction Value: $250 million.
