PEPCO- Potomac Electric Power Company, Consulting Services for 69 kV Overhead Motor Operated Disconnect Switches
Engineering Consulting Services to develop an engineered solution (field hardware, communications, SCADA control and display and operational procedures) to allow timely, reliable and correct sectionalizing of faults on the PEPCO 68 kV subtransmission network. ATS responsibilities included selection of the switch, motor operator, remote terminal unit (RTU), evaluation of the pole structure loading, development of the RTU configurations, and coordination with the master station. Construction Value: $500,000.
